We’re Not Back Yet…
So, July 4th, is not the day that we had been hoping for. The announcement made on Tuesday 23rd June by our dear Prime Minister was so disheartening for everyone in the swimming world. Swim schools, clubs, leisure centres, private pools had all expected to be back up and running by the first Saturday in July, but it obviously wasn’t meant to be.
Such an obscure decision with no reasoning obviously had an impact on the swimming world and as a result Swim England have launched the #OpenOurPools campaign. Requesting everyone and anyone with an interest in swimming to act now and join the campaign to get Government to consider re-evaluating their decision.
